Orquesta Mondragón, led by Javier Gurruchaga, plays at Roig Arena on 19 November 2026 at 22:00, as part of the tour marking the band's 50th anniversary. The show mixes rock, theatre and cabaret. Gurruchaga is known in Spain as an actor and television presenter as well, besides fronting the band as its singer.
Tickets start at 33 €. The arena opened its doors in September 2025 as the new home of Valencia Basket, replacing the old La Fonteta arena, and alongside basketball it programmes concerts and other shows throughout the year, both musical and sporting. Orquesta Mondragón was formed in San Sebastián in the late nineteen-seventies and is one of the pioneering bands of the movida, with a show that has since combined live music with cabaret and theatre numbers on stage.
The venue is in the Quatre Carreres neighbourhood, next to the Pabellón Fuente de San Luis; the nearest Metrovalencia connection is the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències stop, and several EMT bus lines stop near the main entrance of the venue.
More information about the venue can be found at Roig Arena, and the how to get around Valencia guide covers the remaining transport options for getting there without a car.
