John Eliot Gardiner's meeting with the OCV last season was an unprecedented artistic success that forged a lasting bond between the orchestra and the legendary conductor. On his second visit, Gardiner brings together two contemporaneous works by Mahler and Sibelius, preceded by Beethoven's Leonore Overture No. 2.
