Open in Google Maps

The Terraza del Saler crowns the Saler shopping centre beside the City of Arts and Sciences, and few tourists know the roof at all. From the top floor the view runs 360 degrees over the Hemisfèric, the Museu de les Ciències and, on clear days, the sea. It is a free rooftop with no paid terrace attitude.

The top floor with 360 degree views

Reaching it takes nothing more than going to the highest floor: access is free and no order is required to enjoy the views. Below spread the Hemisfèric and the Museu de les Ciències with the rest of the complex around them, and the 360 degree sweep lets the eye circle the whole Arts and Sciences setting from an uncommon angle.

Food and drink upstairs

Several counters serve the roof, including names like Starbucks, Foodoo and Sibuya among others. Food and drink are priced at ordinary shopping-centre levels; looking at the panorama itself does not require a purchase. If you want a break, consider a drink or a meal after looking at the view.

A free view beside the complex

The rooftop is a free alternative to paid terraces in Valencia: go to the shopping centre's highest floor to reach it. That makes it a clean stop before or after the Arts and Sciences visit, with services, food and shade all inside on hot days. Slip it between two museum halls and the day breathes easier.

Hours

Opening runs approximately 09:00 to 22:00, following the shopping centre timetable. Pick a clear day if the sea matters to the plan, and allow time to look over the whole complex. For other city venues, consult the La Fábrica de Hielo guide or the Café de las Horas page before planning the rest of your day.
