Ayuntamiento (palacio del mustassaf)
15th-century Mudejar town hall. A civic landmark of the old centre.
The town hall of Cabanes occupies a 15th-century Mudejar palace in the centre of Cabanes.
The building
It keeps its original Gothic-Mudejar fabric: pointed brick arches, wooden ceilings and plain tracery windows. The ground-floor exchange recalls its trading use, and the upper hall hosts council meetings today.
What to see
Ask to see inside during municipal hours and look at the exchange arches. Pair the visit with the church of San Juan, steps away, and the Roman arch outside town.

- Continue to the church of San Juan, from the 18th century.
