Monument and landscape
The dam dates from 1770 and keeps its historic hydraulic layout, which gives the visit its point: water, stone and pine forest in one short walk. Spring is the best time, with the countryside green and the reservoir in good level; it can be visited all year. After summer the level is usually low; spring restores it.
