The Manantial de la Esperanza rises on the side of the Esperanza hill, in the municipality of Segorbe, and its water supplies Navajas, Segorbe and Altura for daily consumption and irrigation. On the upper part of the hill stand the ruins of a 15th-century Jerónimos monastery and, close by, the Esperanza hermitage, destination of pilgrimages that bless the spring water.
