In the centre of Enguera, the church of San Miguel Arcángel is a Mannerist church from the 16th and 17th centuries, of Herrerian splendour. It is the parish of the Canal capital.
History
The church went up between the 16th and 17th centuries, as Enguera grew as a mountain town. The Mannerist Herrerian lines ordered a church plain outside and rich inside. The visit needs half an hour to see retablo and cross calmly.
