Outside the old core of Villajoyosa, the Vilamuseu is the municipal museum in a modern building. Its rooms cover town archaeology from Phoenician to Roman periods, including the Malladeta finds, plus fishing and seafaring collections.
History
The museum gathers the digs of the municipal territory, a coast settled since Phoenician times. The fishing rooms continue the story into the working port of today.
