9 October eve: Cant a la Senyera, dance and fireworks

The municipal programme announces the eve of 9 October on Thursday 8 October 2026 with events inside Ayuntamiento de València and outside in Plaça de l’Ajuntament.

Announced municipal programme: Cant a la Senyera and dance

• 19:00, 19:30 and 20:00: Cant a la Senyera, performed by Coral Polifónica Valentina in Salón de Cristal inside the city hall.
• From 19:30: Valencian dance, music and song in Plaça de l’Ajuntament, in collaboration with Federación de Folklore de la Comunitat Valenciana (FFCV).
• The dance programme will conclude around 21:00 with a popular dansà in the square, with registration to take part through FFCV.

The showcase brings together Grup de Dansa de l’Alcúdia, the dance group of the El Piló cultural association and Grup de Danses Arcud de la Vall d’Uixó, accompanied by Colla Va de Bó from Quart de Poblet.

What time are the fireworks and where?

The city council announces the fireworks show at 23:30 at Puente de Monteolivete, at a different location from the dance and Cant a la Senyera.
