The Tos Pelat Iberian settlement sits on a hill in the municipality of Bétera. It is a walled settlement from Iberian times, discovered in 1920, whose finds are kept in the prehistory museum of València.
History
The Tos Pelat settlement was discovered in 1920 and is excavated in recent campaigns. Its walls and houses on the hilltop tell the life of the Edetani before Rome. The finds are studied in the recent excavation campaigns.
What to see
The wall remains and structures on the hill, with views over the plain. Pair it with Bétera castle, in the centre, and the Bofilla tower, the Islamic farmstead of the municipality.
