Musical "Sonrisas y Lágrimas" in Valencia

The musical "Sonrisas y Lágrimas" is on at Teatro Olympia (Carrer de Sant Vicent Màrtir, 44) from 10 December 2026 to 10 January 2027, a full month of performances. "Sonrisas y Lágrimas" is the Spanish title of "The Sound of Music", the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical premiered on Broadway in 1959 and popularised above all by the 1965 film starring Julie Andrews, set in 1930s Austria and centred on the Von Trapp family. Since then there have been numerous stage versions of the musical in different countries and languages.
