History
The heights were settled as a fortified city in Iberian times and continued into the Roman period. Walls and houses explain a hub controlling passage between coast and inland, now protected as an archaeological zone.
What to see
The wall and house remains of the Iberian-Roman city, with the heights landscape. The visit needs a car and closed shoes. In the town stand Arab El Castellet and the Natividad church (1777).

- Drive there and allow an hour: the site is large.
