Castielfabib castle crowns the rock of the fortress-village of Castielfabib, in the Rincón de Ademuz. It keeps the Torreta keep and the walled enclosure above the Ebrón valley.
History
The castle gave rise to the town and its walls. From the rock it controlled the Ebrón valley and the Rincón pass. The Los Ángeles church-fortress, at its foot, is reached through El Carrerón, the tunnel under the castle.
What to see
The Torreta, the enclosure walls and the viewpoints over the Ebrón, such as Villa Vieja and El Moral. Below wait the 16th-century San Guillermo convent, by the river, and the Virgen de Gracia chapel.
