The San Juan Bautista church is the parish church of the historic core of Manises, next to the museum. Built between 1734 and 1751, it was burned in the Civil War and restored afterwards, with a plain stone exterior and tiled dome.

History

The 1734-1751 parish replaced the earlier church of the pottery town. The Civil War fire damaged it, and the later restoration gave it its present nave-and-chapel form.

What to see

The nave, the chapels and the tiled dome above the old quarter. Pair it with the ceramics museum and the Obradors quarter walk, with the Arquets aqueduct at the ravine edge.
