Casco antiguo de Oropesa
Sloping lanes below the castle, with the church square. Viewpoints over the port and beaches.
The old town of Oropesa climbs the hill below the castle, in Oropesa del Mar. Sloping lanes of whitewashed houses lead to the square of the Paciencia church in the middle, with viewpoints over the port and beaches.
The quarter
The quarter keeps its defensive street plan: narrow lanes facing the sea and wall remains between houses. It is the pre-tourism Oropesa, of fishers and farmers. The walk joins the beach with the castle in a few minutes, always uphill.
