Villa Victoria (Las Villas)
1911 modernista villa in the Las Villas colony, facing the sea. A reminder of bourgeois summers a century ago.
Villa Victoria, from 1911, is one of the historic villas of the Las Villas colony, on the seafront promenade of Benicasim. Its modernista-style façades and garden face the sea, like the other summer houses in the area.
History
Las Villas grew from the late 19th century as a summer colony for the Valencian and Castellón bourgeoisie. Villa Victoria, from 1911, belongs to the second wave of houses, when the promenade was already the summer drawing room of the coast.
