The Manolo Safont Tile Museum holds about 20,000 pieces in Onda, the tile capital of the Plana. The collection runs through the history of Valencian tiles, from old kilns to current industry.
The collection
The holdings gather production and art tiles, with samples of techniques, moulds and kilns. It is named after Manolo Safont, driver of the museum and student of local ceramics. Outside, the old centre invites a stroll to the castle, seen from below, and to the ceramics shops.
