History
The treasure turned up in 1963 and named the museum, founded in 1957 by the archaeologist José María Soler. The collections cover the district's archaeology from prehistory onward.

The Treasure, with its bracelets, bowls and gold sceptre, anchors the rooms. Around it are ordered the materials of local settlement since the Middle Palaeolithic, documented in the area.
